seriously tho... to bring you the latest n greatest ... we've taken advantage of many IE components, (advanced scripting, dynamic layering, better css handling, alpha blending effects... etc.)
yes, there's always a risk in alienating some users, but overall, by focusing the technology around a common denominator like IE ... we'll be more able to provide you with an application like none other....
just give it a spin with IE6+ ... after tinkering with the new user interface for a bit... you'll appreciate how much easier and better it is .... compared to what we had prior and.. more importantly ... whats currently out there. (shameless plug) =0)

Why not just provide a simple alternative text based system with a nice style sheet? I'm literally locked out of SC now, unless I run IE in an emulator. Why bother with all the eye candy? No one cares once they're inside the stats area, all they want is the info/ materials they want, quickly and easily.
I can see the reasoning behind using the lowest common denominator platform, but technically IE is just shit, and not providing an alternative (or at least not coding your members area smartly) is just lame.Comment
