But I wouldn't put it past some people to do that with their hosted galleries.

I seem to remember a sponsor did just that but with entry consoles. If you were a webmaster checking your links there was no console but if you were a surfer you got like 3 big entry consoles. Scandalous.

I always suspected this... but have never seen any proof...

I was pruning my list of hosted gals..... Hit about 4 TGPs, 2 paysites, and a few 404's.

I design a shitload of hosted galleries for folks, and I know what they look like before I hand them over, and know the "mistakes" that occur afterwards, such as the final pic linking the wrong image, of course you have to make it a simple chrono mistake to really make it look like an accident .../blowjobpic15.jpg instead it says .../blowjobpic1r.jpg the masses believe more in the common mistake of man than the truth.

Also the other one I mentioned would be not adding the "cc bill" carry code on ? links, i have seen it, and its a huge leak.

Its hard to catch it all, but I highly doubt one can search a shitload of gallery links and not hit a 404 or a page redirect to the paysite owners TGP, I have seen it too many times to disagree.

I have contacted paysite owners, or better yet, their designer, and was basically told I was mistaken, when I refreshed, and refreshed and a link code was not being carried over on a link, of course it was fixed about 30 mins later, but again, i was mistaken hahaha yeah right.

once you know their tricks youll be able to weed out the cheating bastards in no time.

they will almost ALWAYS claim you are mistaken, while fixing it of course so when you refresh its not there, and they will also smply claim "oh thats a mistake" knowing damn well it was not a typo, how easy it is to defraud people who actyually believe in the honesty of men.

forgot to add:

the one tyhing that proves that the usual "pic # typo" is that most program owners are lazy and usually have a designer batch process the thumbs etc, there are no typos when you grab a folder and batch the galleries out.

i have seen it too many times to believe the bullshit

there are no typos when you batch galleries, its something that is changed AFTER the fact.

You are always going to do better when you link to your own galleries. Fletch XXX, eroswebmaster and a few other guys have made me galleries that easily outperform the hosted galleries provided by sponsors.

It's just very time consuming to select/crop images, and then upload everything.

Ditto - ya got to watch your free hosted galleries. I've found mistakes more than once. They get fixed, but ya got to keep an eye on it. I won't name names, it just may of been an honest mistakes.

What happens though is that conversions go to hell, and you're gonna do less for them anyway.

We're all busy and it takes time to do a good creative gallery. So the free hosted is nice. Plus there usually done by pros.

You could write a script that replaces your account ID for any that are not. You could even could do this to gallery posters to your TGP. For the record, this TGP is not doing that.
