I used Photoshop to make the teen feet site thumbs, and you're right, they did come out pixely. I'm not sure how to fix that or why it happened though...I've used that method before and they turned out fine.
The second site's thumbs were provided that way, so I didn't have to make them, and I can't take credit for them, lol.

use the save for web feature in photoshop and set it to 45 percent quality. Thumbs turn out PERFECT on that compression. |
