What I don't understand about link dumps is why rotate links out? Why not just move them to an archive and keep them up for the SE traffic and show ads on the archive pages? After a few months you might have 1,000 pages of links. It's not like html is a big storage issue.Comment

they look a really bad idea, your attracting SE spammers, who will just spider there cloaked pages and you wont know shit.
also if no recip what do you gain from it?
bad for linkpop and no one will bookmark a site thats full of spam urls.
toplist seems a much better idea.
