This is awfully naive. Apparently you haven't even read about the trouble that you can get into by simply TURNING IN a pedo site. All of a sudden they confiscate YOUR computer to see what evidence might be on it. If you do want to drop a dime on a pedo site, use the various anonymizing online facilities; don't call your local police department or the FBI.

Also, some prosecutor in Chicken Neck, Arkansas, can get a complaint from an angry parent over what you would consider relatively mild porn and all of a sudden you're on a plane, your computer is confiscated, and most likely trashed by authorities. Then, even if you are found innocent, they are in no way obligated to reimburse you for attorney fees, damage to your equipment, and so on.

The trouble with staying within the law as regards obscenity is that (WRITE THIS DOWN) what is obscene is decided by police, prosecutors, judges, and juries, not you. And they may be in some cultural backwater where standards are totally 1920's not 2002.
