      The "join" messages are pretty obscured, I doubt it that one in particular does very well. But I'd like to know the same thing about designs like it.

                      honestly i wonder how a LOT of sites get sign ups (a lot of the ARS look like crap to me for example), but apparently they do.
                      SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR.
                      Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
                      Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.

                              You say "come with me" but who is "me". Introduce "me" and let the surfer feel like he is reading something that is written by the model on the page and that they can connect with. Or say "hi I'm John the webmaster". Make the surfer feel like there is someone there that's interesting.
                              I think this is the way of the future.

                                          I like it, something different. I like that there is actually some real sales copy, although I don't think it was written by someone whose first language is English.
