He sent the checks like he said he would, my bank just refused to deposit them, so I called him last night and asked him to send them via Western Union. He's probably still asleep and will send it when he wakes up. No worries.

Guy, I apologized for my earlier statement but you need to chill. Do you know how long it's been? Even at $400 a clip this should have been long since over. Western Union does instant transfers from online also. If you had big problems you should have kept her updated instead of looking for you. You have OTHER PEOPLES MONEY in your hands including some of mine. If I wanted it to get to her in mid January I would have strapped it to a doves ass. Problem is, you can't prove this - as it is not my fault they take OVER a month to process a canadian cheque.

I will never understand why people get defensive about things they shouldn't. If you read above you'll see I had a problem with Canadian checks too, not anybody's fault. You wonder why people are concerned about this when it's because we sent money. I have sent money to people in foreign countries 5 times in the last week and they got it the same day. The checks didn't get there immediately from what I've read in past threads. I took it as they still hadn't gotten there and apologized when it was cleared up.

You must admit that it was possible to get money from Canada to the US faster than this?

However Tala and I discussed over 50 ways to do this and because I do not have a CC, she does not have paypal, I dont have epassporte, we are in diff countries etc - it makes it a total pain in the ass.
