OK OK OK We're back and recovering from the show. I didn't bring my laptop on this trip but when I got home and played a bit on the boards, I finally witnessed and developed great sympathy for those of you who had to listen to PFPFPFPFT every 8 seconds. How fucking annoying indeed ;) (LOL)
To let poor shok off the hook, I attached an email to show you guys how quickly the banner was fixed. I'd like to thank Blue design studios for doing such a good job and for being prompt and accomodating with as always. After the first post was made regarding this ad, they had it fixed within an hour. It was immediately sent to Eric and jt at gfy. No one was at fault here. It was just crazy timing because Friday after the offices all close, everyone at GFY was scurrying to get ready for the convention.
We sincerely apologize for the excrutiating torture we put you guys through and vow to turn our volume up a bit when reviewing our banners before forwarding them off.
I would agree that it would not be a "good marketing decision" if deliberately made. However, the unintentional branding was priceless and it shows bigtime in our Jettis admin.
For those of you that we drove crazy, our apologies again and please let us buy you a few beers and a xanex at the next convention ;)

The only fix in this banner needed is that the sound should only come on with a mouseover.

And when I listen to music I never come on GFY... do not need any extra sounds in my music.
