The next 3 years there is going to be alot of very dirty business as the consolidation and weeding out process happens.

i'm not in the least bit moved by whatever they have deicded. i'll send traffic whever the mood strikes me, and it won't be to sponsors who signed with Acacia

You should be moved. Imagine Acacia ask you to pay an annual fee of $2,000 plus 15% of all the income your site generates because you've used one single sponsors not listed on their list!

Plus, other patent holders like USA Video, who have now said on public record, that those that signed with Acacia could be potential targets.

yes it's a shame, but it seems to be the truth. I hope many webmaster will recognize this and will make there descissions out of this fucking letter

Why not just wait til february and see what happens for fucks sakes. If spike and the others win the case Acacia is dead in the water. End of story.

Nothing is going to be decided in February so you can wake up from that pipe dream right now.

It takes months just to get a stupid ass traffic ticket resolved there is no way in hell you are going to see any kind of resolution in February, unless some genius judge just decides to throw out the case before it starts citing Acacia's claims are without merit, but no chance in hell that will happen.

I would LOVE to see this happen. All the sponsors that have signed are fucked for life, they have to keep paying if the patent is valid or not.

Regarding webmasters complaining against Dave from Discount Pass Bucks who signed up with Acacia (even he is from Canada!)

How do they know what sites we send traffic to? Their records? You mean to tell me they keep track of the traffic flow of the fuckin web? C'mon.

It not hard at all. All they have to do is go tho your site once, then click of a few links and if one of those links goes to a sponsor not listed on their link, they will make you pay their licensing fee.
