I opened my eyes for a split second, then closed it cause i was so fucking scared, but I wanted to see what the fuck was going on so I just twitch my left eye to open a bit and what I saw was pretty fucked up, it's really hard for me to describe. If you ever seen the movie "Darkness Falls" it's almost the same thing as that fucking devil flying around killing people, and to those of you who haven't seen the movie, it's almost something like a "Death" character that you see on TV, wearing all black, you can't see it's face cause it's not there. I mean this shit was fucking flying right above of me, I was obviously laying down and when I was looking up towards the ceiling, this shit was right up at my face, it was almost like he was flying zooming in, then zooming out, and the fucker was laughing the whole time. Also it seems to me like it was very windy, either that or the fucker was moving really fast, cause I can see shadows moving everywhere real fast.
NOW HERE IS THE BEST PART...
I know for a fact that this was not a dream, cause like I said earlier, I can listen to my roomate's music since he plays his music pretty loud in his room. So when all this shit was happening, I try to scream but wasn't able to, I mean I could open my mouth and I was screaming my head off, but nothing comes out, there was no vocal and I couldn't hear myself. Then I though oh shit, i'm so fucked now. My bed is right up next to the wall, so I try to kick the wall so my roomate can hear it, but I couldn't move. I swear I wasn't able to do shit all. Just laying there, helpless. Was practically pissing my pants... then the fucker slowly disappear. My body sensation was slowly gone, then I open my eyes again, and I can hear the same song from my roomate's room playing again. Fuck I was still shaken, so I just stayed under my blankets the whole night.
I can't help but think I just got a visit from "Death" and that i'm gonna die today. This shit is freaking me out!!!
Do you guys ever had any experience like this? if so please share so I can feel that i'm not alone ehehe and if you don't what do you think of the story, what kind of message do you think it's trying to tell me?

The first symptoms sounded like a panic attack until you saw the figure. Combine that with being unable to move sounds like you were in a half sleep state (as many people already mentioned)..
Obviously something was out of whack with your body chemistry.
I wouldn't worry about dying but maybe now is a good time to step back and take a look at yourself. It could be your body telling you to hold the fuck up your wearing me out. Are you getting enough sleep? Under a lot of stress (we are all under stress but perhaps an abnormal amount?). Taking any drugs you shouldn't be taking? What about RXs? To much caffeine? Taking any sort of herbal vitamins etc.? you get the idea.

Just sleep paralysis man, no need to panic. Basically, part of your brain was sleeping, and the other was still awake . . weird things like that happen . . . If you want to avoid it, most people get a ringing in their ears as an early symptom. If your ears start ringing, roll over, it will break you out of it.

the shit you describe is fairly common.
what happens when you fall asleep is your body releases
some kind of a chemical that causes your body to be somewhat
paralized during sleep. this prevents you from walking off while
sleeping and from beating the shit out of your spouse when
you're dreaming of kicking someones ass.
now when you awake real fast, under rare circumstances your
body doesnt have enough time to collect these chemical and
everything from your vision to your movements is screwed up.
the same thing you described has other people believing they're
abducted by aliens, and have the devil coming to get them. i'd
say that your description fits about 99% of these typical cases.
i actually experienced this sort of thing myself a few times and
i was scared as hell, so i went to a doctor, read some shit on
it and learned what it is.
for me, it happens when my body gets cold while fall alseep. i get
these weird spams and i wake up but cant move and see weird
shit. at first its scary as hell, but once your mind realizes whats
really happening (assuming you know whats happening), you
calm down and the shit goes away.
pretty freaky stuff, but no ghosts or aliens nonetheless!

Take a break from the computer man. This kind of shit happens to me like once a week. Once, my girlfriend stayed over, and I woke up and jumped out of the bed, having sworn seeing an albino scorpion crawling toward my head. She called me an idiot and we went back to sleep. Last week, I bolt awake and see a midget or something perched on my dresser, staring at me...of course I was paralyzed with fear, yada yada yada, but 10 seconds later when that part of my brain fully awakened, I realized that the midget was nothing more than my table fan.
I've corelated these night terrors to 14+ hour days staring at a computer monitor.
Once again, take a break...you're overworked. There are no fucking ghosts, it's your mind playing tricks on you, like the ghetto boys song.Comment

I have had a total of 3, very vivid "sightings" of ghosts;
1st one: When me and my man first moved into our apartment 6 years ago....we were wresting around on the floor trying to see whos stronger (that good ol' flirty-shit that new couples do lol) and i turned my head laughing, look up and see my (then) recently dead great grandmother STARRING at me like she was pissed OFF!!! My mans voice sounded like he was screaming at me from miles away-very distant! She never moved or spoke, but she was there, a few feet away from me!!! I slowly came to and my man was like "What the fuck just happend? Your face was pale as FUCK?!! You ok??"
2nd time; I was sleeping at my grandmothers house about a year ago, and anyone who knows me knows that i am a very sound sleeper. Anyways, I felt someone climing on my bed slowly, so i opened up my eyes and it was this BEAUTIFUL YOUNG WOMAN in a angel-like, almost victorian like , long flowing dress...she was on her hands and knees, just starring at me like "Who the hell are you???" VERY curious look on her face! I screamed SO FUCKING LOUD! So i go downstairs (it being 6AM and all) and told my grandma about the woman i saw on my bed. She said " Oh yea....she comes in my room all the time and paces around the bed just smiling at me....havent seen her for awhile...she probably was just checkin ya out to see who you were, thats all. "

3rd time; This was a month or so ago here at me and my mans place again. We were in bed watching TV and talkin and he turned his head to look at me and his eyes stopped at the doorway and he frooze up. I looked to see what he was lookin at and i saw a man in black jeans and a flannel shirt, leaning up against the door with his arms crossed...couldnt see his face though. I FREAKED OUT!!!! Never saw a guy ghost before!!! HE WAS SO CLOSE to the bed!!! And to my surprise, this was the 2nd time my man has seen him.
I pray that I wont have any more encounters....they scare the shit outta me!!!!! Im not on any meds, never have been, Im not into witch craft or anything. But for some reason, I've had these 3 encounters. Scary shit.

A few years ago I was laying in my bed. I didn't smoke or drink that night at all. The all of a sudden I felt something land next to me. As if someone dropped a bowling ball 10 feet up. I got scared because I instantly sensed it was something supernatural.
Then after about 5 seconds I felt this strange sensation that started at the tips of my toes and worked its way all the way up. It felt as if something was going thru my body. It was so scary and I just froze hoping it would go away.
For the next week weird shit started happening and then I met some weird girl at this pool hall. She was one of those raver type bitches and I told her all about my ghostly experieces.
She then goes, "IM GOING TO REMOVE ALL THESE GHOSTLY FORCES FROM YOU." She sounded like she's done it before.... and all the weird supernatural shit stopped.

A lot of people who are trying to quit smoking have these dreams because of those nicotene patches they wear. Gives you VERY vivid dreams. You want so much to get out of whatever dream you are in..but you just can't. I remember way back when I tried to quit smoking with those patches...gave you totally weirded out dreams and I knew I was dreaming, but it seemed like it was just a PHYSICAL struggle to get out of the dream.

This happened when I was younger. I was laying down in bed with my pillows over my eyes as usual. Then all of a sudden I heard a whirlwind in my room as if my papers on the floor were swirling in a tornado-like form. I wanted to take the pillow off my eyes but too scared what I would see. All of sudden I felt this entity floating over me, as if I opened my eyes I would have seen him levitating parallel staring back at me. Scare to look, I start feeling as if he is sucking the life out of me... It was as if he was targeting my soul trying to suck it out of my body. As soon as it was about to drain me dry it would release my energy. I remember being in a state of paralisis and on that very edge it would try to take my soul. I remember clutching my fists because it hurt like hell and I started to feel my heart give out, then he would release at the last second. So this happened for a frightening couple of minutes, then I finally gathered up enough power to jump out of my bed and ran in my Dad's room to tell him what happened.Comment

I've had two sleep paralysis incidents like that. They both freaked me out.
The scariest one was right after my father died and I was staying at my mother's home after the funeral. I had just laid down to bed and was reaching to turn off the light and all of a sudden felt a rush of incredibly cold musty air whirl around me. Then my entire body felt like I had been given a paralysis drug. I couldn't move at all.
Next I could see a rounded depression forming at the edge of the bed as if someone was sitting there. I started to really freak out and tried to scream to my mother who was sleeping down the hall but my jaw felt locked in place and the words couldn't come out. Then I felt the body weight of someone as if leaning on my shoulder. Then the depression on the bed started to go upwards as if someone was getting off the bed and I felt the heavy mass of cold air whirling around even faster than the first time.
My body unlocked at that point and I leaped out of bed and ran down to my mother's room to wake her up and tell her what happened.
I'm sure it was my father's spirit trying to let me know he was in the house and on the other side.

I have gone through periods where I experience the sleep paralysis, scary shit I tell ya. Never experienced demons or anything, I just find myself to be what I think is awake but I can't move etc.
Thing is, you can talk yourself out of it with practice LOL. When it happens to me I try not to panic, tell myself I'm just sleeping and try to "let it go" and actually try to relax enough to get into real sleep. If that doesn't work, if you stay calm and concentrate really hard you can move a bit, personally I slap myself LOL, which wakes me up. I don't go right back to sleep because it will tend to happen again so I stay up for a couple of hours until I think that I am exhausted enough to fall right into a natural sleep.Comment
