Is her name on the lease?
Did you get married?
Did you put anything in writting?
If the answer is no to all of that then it is time to call the police and tell them you have a guest who you refuses to leave and you wish to prevent an argument. It is your word against hers on weither you even had a relationship (crossed into common law marriage a while back) or if you just allowed the woman to stay with you as a friend. The less paperwork her name is on the easier it will be for you. If you took care of the woman for all these years then she should be happy you did so, it is up tp you as a person to give her a parting gift, I think the price she has asked is a bit high, maybe 2 or so to move all her stuff and pay a month or so of the rent.
If she was so worried about being on her own and having to start over then maybe she should find a way to peacefully co-exist with you and make you happy. I do not know why you did not just change the locks and put all her stuff in storage while she was gone. Life is to short for that kinda shit and you seem to be in at an age where all the bs should be over and you should be enjoying your maturity in peace and quiet!
