This has happened to me several times, which is why I will no longer deal with them. And no, they will not pay interest or
bounced check fees. Don't Panic. It is probably an international check problem. I know Canada, Romania and the majority of the baltic states won't cash US checks. Did the bank specify if this was the problem?

The two canadian banks I've had or heard from close friends of problems is Canada Western out in the middle of nowhere and some HSBC branches. I don't know if it is a length of time account open issue, location or branch by branch thing, but I know its happened.

Well, I don't know what to say to this. I personally have a copy of the list of chargebackers they allowed to remain in their system doing shows. I would be happy to email you a copy. What you describe here is different from a chargeback anyhow.
