Hey guys, those of you with very large sites, requiring high bandwidth and multiple dedicated servers (large membership base & 100+gigs of content).... can you recommend any quality hosting companies other than Isprime?

Wow, so many recommendations... but besides having top customer service & support 24/7, they really need to be able to handle a 10,000-20,000 active user base from a single domain. I cannot afford downtimes anymore, nor 'internal server errors' and 'security program problems' for members even after hard drive & cpu upgrades. It seems after FTV surpassed a certain active user base, its become a nightmare of problems.Comment

Isprime is great, good customer support, and its not a $$$ issue... but at this point we need something else, as I mentioned those problems above... we cannot afford to have these problems plague us anymore. We focus on the best quality & member support but there is no point if a significant portion of members keep running into access and server problems and slow download speeds or simply no access at all.
Mutt... true if karup is being hosted by natnet, then I definitely must contact them. Seems to me the ultra-massive karup is problem-free on bandwith issues, downtimes and security -- so if natnet can set us up with something similar to what karup is running on, we'll be in good standing.Comment

Natnet has done a great job handling the Lightspeed sites for nearly 5 years, we have a large complex system too.
They are good people too, they always take care of their customers.

Our problems have been going off and on for over a year... Ive just given up being patient or trying to find solutions with Isprime.
A classic example -- a member of FTV making a comment about our site on the X3guide.com review site:
Ive joined the FTV site many times before, but now I am having smega problems with server errors and download limits.
This problem is multiplyed X10 if you join there sister site alexamodel.com.
The content is really good though and have enjoyed. Would still recomend if you have patients with your computer.
I work extremely hard to make members 100% satisfied, and this sort of problem negates all my efforts.Comment

We also have a lot of active customers, and 4-5 boxes at isprime. No problem at all.
Did you phone them, and ask for Denis or Alex? They would love to help you.
