Its great because theres no competition, well cept Revstats. They update daily if stuff breaks . Nice and fast for that. but they have no standalone.. Yet..
Anyway if I wrote one I can think of alot of improvements. Maybe I will...

Firstly, there's no software without any bugs. When StatsRemote reports wrong sales it's most of the times because programs changed their stats and we usually fix it for the next update. There might be other reasons as well, e.g. temporary database problems on the sponsors' end (happens daily when you support thousands of programs).
And we don't wait many weeks for updates, we release updates bi-weekly. RevStats is a web-based service which means they just have to change the routine for one program and it automatically works for all their members as nobody has to download any updates.
StatsRemote, on the other hand, is a desktop application. We had weekly updates before but there were too many problems because we couldn't test everything properly. That's why we switched to bi-weekly updates.
