do virtual visa cards just plain blow?

i dunno, haven't used them all that much.

but anyways, i got that silly limit thingie on paypal. i tried to add a second card and all that crap to get around it, but all my cards are visas, and apparently you can't add 2 visas on paypal's site.

so, then i got the crazy idea of using the paypal virtual mastercard to load funds into my epass account. a little expensive way to do it, but fuck it it works.

well, no, it doesn't. so, i can't use the electron card at merchants unless i use a debit card. i can't use the virtual epass visa (or electron) with paypal, and epassporte keeps reporting a "bank does not respond" on the paypal mastercard.

what a fucking mess. so anyways, is there any services out there that directly accept paypal accounts, like stormpay or yahoo? doubtful, but i thought i'd ask.

or, if you guys have any great ideas about getting around this, i'm all ears. generally i just deal with it, but i'm not really in the mood to do so anymore.

i'd hate to outright dump paypal, but it's getting too annoying

Don't you have a PayPal debit card? That's why I always used, or just direct transfer the money out of there into a bank account.

well, i explained that in my first post

no, and i have the limit imposed upon my account. since my only credit/debit cards are visa, and apparently since i can't add 2 visa cards to my account, my limits remain.

i'm very uninterested in giving them my ssn.

i guess part of what i want to know, is do other people have as many issues as i do with virtual visa/mc?

i'm not really an ebay seller, and for some reason they really didn't want to send me a debit card. but they provided no reasoning, and i never felt like calling them...

I don't sell on Ebay either but I have a debit card with them, however i try to keep my paypal empty or near empty cause you never know when they might decide to shut your shit down. Can't you just transfer the money straight out to a bank. Get a debit card and biz account and you should be fine with them.

i have a business account, but they won't send me a debit card. like i said, i never called them so i don't know why they won't send it. i should probably call them today, and find out what the deal is.

anyways, yes, i would have it wired to my bank account, but i'm over my limit... so i can't.

Send it to me and I'll hold it for you. Wait a minute I've got an idea bro. There's this place where you can buy a money order online with your paypal and have the money order shipped. So you could use your paypal, buy the money order and have it shipped to yourself and then take it to the bank.

i was thinking about something like that as well... although depending on how long it takes, it might be just as easy to have paypal send a check.

i was also thinking about snatching up one of those prepaid vitual visa's online and send it to epassporte, but with my luck i figure it wouldn't work through epass, and i'd have another card i can't get cash from... lol.

figured out part of the problem. according to their customer service, epassporte accepts no virtual cards whatsoever.

good thing they push that virtual stuff then, huh? joy.

i talked to paypal, they're sending me a debit card now. turns out when i initially requested it (which was a long time ago), i didn't have enough transactions. all taken care of

wtf is that virtaul mastercard? you need to signup to get it right? i ask this because yesterday i saw 3 transactions that were denied from insufficient funds in my account billed by that virtual debit card. the charges were about $150 from amazon...

ive never signed up for that card, so i went and cancelled it and changed my password...wtf is up with that?
