there are many anime movies that are really pretty damn good as well as a few series..
HOWEVER -- it is rather fucking disturbing when people get like wayy to in to it and shit (like those friends you speak of sound a little scare considering sailor moon isnt even that good of a show)
i prefer to think of anime movies just as i would a normal movie, some suck and some is good , anime fans i have encountered seem to be totally obsessed with anime and everything japanese and like any fucking anime they see and want to own them all and shit, that is just going too far!Comment

I'm a fan of anime (Japanese animation). The actual movies that you can buy at the video store. They're very funny and entertaining and they're helping me learn some Japanese
I don't really get turned on by hentai. I do enjoy some of the high quality stuff because of the artistic value. I especially like the airbrushed style more than the cel shaded style, but some of the cel shaded stuff is nice, too. I also like erotic art, as well. I've bought several erotic art books because I love looking at it, not because it turns me on, because it doesn't.
