New pitch: As an affiliate, would you choose ccBill or Verotel ?
Given the choice upon signing up to promote a program as an affiliate, would you choose a ccBill payment option or choose to get paid through Verotel ?
verotel sites convert much better. Might be because they have more billing options. The affiliate interface and nonexstant customerservice of verotel really sucks, ccbill is much better for this.

Chargebacks are not a problem. My sales with Verotel compared to scrubbill are truckloads better. If you want to make considerably less money as an affiliate then stick with ccbill..
Originally posted by Paparazzi have more trust in ccbill... and I like that you can merge accounts also, not sure about if you can do that with verotel
Yes you can merge them , when signing up click "I'm already a reseller"

To all people out here voting for CCBill without ever trying Verotel. Why don't you set up an account and give it a try... can always come in handy as back up...
CCBill and Verotel??? No doubts CCBill, they are the best around also for affiliates.

I'd say CCBill even with the shaving at least they publicly display the information, so a quick check and you know who's on the up and up and who's not. Sponsors who decide to shave and dont know this information will eventually get revealled and have their programs go through a shit storm as a result, so if anything it may actually help to uncover a few more shavers, rather than keep them hidden.
Cracks me up to hear so many people saying "I give Verotel 6 months" and shit like that.
They are a rock solid company, and worst case scenario, they end up being forced to comply with the $750 rule. I think they have enough big clients to survive it.
People keep saying "enjoy your great conversions while they last". But how about "Enjoy your great conversions, and when the shit hits the fan you'll have to pay $750, but you'll still get great conversions". It won't be the end of the world for Verotel.

Verotel does not scrub nearly as hard as CCbill, and yet CB's are extremely low. If you choose not to use them because you think they wont be around in 6/mo then just milk it for the next six months. I think they will be around for a while since they do not deal with any U.S. banks whatsover. But these days...who knows.
