    A ferel cat destined for the dinner table is picked up in Xin Yuan wild animal market in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou. Following a confirmed SARS case in Guangzhou, the government has ordered that all masked palm civets, which are eaten here as a delicacy, be destroyed as a precaution against SARS after the virus was found in to be present in them.(AFP/Peter Parks )

                              No! I don't see how killing cats will help with the SARS. In England they killed cats then they were overrun with rats which caused the plage!

                                      that's just fucking wrong. if anyone would do that to my cat they better hope they have a good hiding place, life insurance and their will made up already because they would die a horrible fucking death.                                                               It's not much different than slaughtering all cows who are 100% perfectly fine because they were in contact at one point or another with an infected cow.
                                                              Or eating rabbit which are furry and cute.
                                                              You got to respect other culture and their eating habits even if it seems disgusting to you.
