According to Lottery Officials, they were sure that Rebecca Jemison was the rightful owner and winner of the lotto who even provided receipt from the convenience Store marking the time the ticket was sold.

                                                                                                                      South Euclid police said that they had not been able to reach Battle and her attorney by phone soon after Jemison was proclaimed the winner at the press conference.
