          I'd considerer them but not only don't they have any local numbers in my area they don't have ANY numbers in my area code. How does Packet 8 have my local numbers and not Vonage?

              They bought up the numbers!

              Also Vonage rocks no problems here maybe its your internet.

                  No. It's not like some areas where it says "out of stock" I mean they don't offer numbers in my are code at all. Even though my area code consists of over 25 counties and about 1/3 of the state's land area.

                          I find that a lot of times you need to recycle the power on the little box and that more than anything fixes the problem... I find that it's usually the local router or the Vonage box that needs to be reset. If you see a flashing light on the Vonage box the number of flashes usually indicates what type of problem it's having.
