Well its usually very boring choice...

Cheese & Tomato with extra cheese... lol

or

Chesse , Tomato, Ham Pineapple (Yawn)..

and garlic bread and potato wedges....

Yep I used to go to Pizza Hut all the time, but I've never had one delivered.

Their pizza's are amazing. Really different to Domino's

There are so many pizza shops here in Winnipeg it's insane. The best pizza does not come from any of the large commercial franchises though, it comes from the small privately-owned places. Order from those one-by-one until you find one that makes super pizza. There's a place in town here that makes curried-chicken pizza... it is fantastic.

If you like spicey, try hot Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, jalapeno peppers and extra cheese.

omg CD Winnipeg has the best food on earth:

Gondola for pizza
Thunderbird for burgers
Nicks Inn for burgers also
Chicken Delight for chicken

man thats one thing i miss about winnipeg is their food, so dam tasty, a Ukrainian town always has good food.

Oh yeah... there's a place like this here called "Chicago Phil's".... they have this thing called a traditional deep-dish, it has 6 toppings of your choice and man is it HEAVY. The larger size is twenty two bucks, 8 slices.... I can eat 4 when I'm really hungry. 3 Different kinds of cheese in that bad boy.

For me, good pizza has to also pass the "eat it cold the next morning" test. If they use that cheap-ass fake cheese shit then it will taste like shit when eaten cold the next day.

I usually get hamburger and onion. But what I really love is greek pizza (spinach and feta cheese, sometimes with olives and sundried tomatoes) but admittedly that pizza is not for everyone.

I also like BBQ chicken pizza and taco pizza. Especially from CiCi's Pizza.

Oh, I'm very familiar with Gondola. They are definitely high on the list of the best. If you've been gone a while you may not have gotten to try places like Santa Lucia, Sorrentos, Garbonzo's, or a little-known place right near me in St. Boniface called "Alladin's Pizza".... All have killer pie.

I don't go for places that crank out paper-thin cheap-ass 3-for-1 pizza, like Mr Bones, dominoes, etc etc. To me, good pizza means they don't skimp on the cheese and the toppings and the meat. Put some sauce on there, not just a few dabs, and make sure that crust is GOOD, as in tasty and crispy. Gondola and those others I mentioned are all consistently excellent about that, and there is nothing worse than dropping thirty bucks on an order from a new pizza joint and having cheap-shit pizza arrive at your door.

i have not tried those places, i have lived outside of winnipeg for over 13 years, but every year i make a trip there.

i go for the Thunderbird mostly.

its a year round wait just to bite into those burgers, they have been amazing for like 40 years, my Dad even used to eat at the Thunderbird daily and he says that quality in burger has not changed.

the owner has been there day in and out serving the same burgers since its opening, id hate to see that place be sold but i have a feeling that he will keep it in his family. Thunderbird has become a tradition in Winnipeg, well in the north end anyway.
