Linksys Wireless Router BEFW11S4: Anyone apply the fireware upgrade?

I know this is not Linksys Tech Support, but their support sucks.....

I am having connection drops and the firmware upgrade is supposed to address this.

I download the firmware .bin file, the installer program and the doc file.

The doc file says I should have downloaded a zip file..... wtf?

I tried installing and I get *invalid image*

Someone here must have done this.

    Help!

the .bin file is the image file. If it says it is the wrong one, you should go back on the site and double check. Download by using " save target as" and you will see if it is a zip.

I know that Asspimple is stoopid ... As he says, it is a FACT !

But I can't figure out how he can breathe or type , at the same time ....
