    Is this an ebay scammer?

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....tem=3832500076

This is a Canon 1Ds digital camera, I believe it's currently the most expensive 35mm DSLR on the planet. It's worth $14k in Aussie dollars although I have seen some grey import places do it as low as $AUD11k. Add on all the extras and the minimum retail value would be about $AUD13k. So the starting price of $AUD3k is very, very low.

The seller has 100% positive feedback, but from the last few auctions I checked they're all music or CD related, and very small amounts (<$25). It also says he's a " Member since 14-Nov-00 in United States" yet the camera is apparently located in Australia.

Is it possible that someone has hijacked this guys account, using his perfect feedback record to suck someone into "buying" a nonexistent camera at such an unbelievable price?

If it's too good to be true, well...

        Yep, no bids yet.

I guess it's the fact that he's suddenly jumped from selling $13 music CDs, to high-end video and still cameras.

Here's everything he is currently selling...

(thought: perhaps it's his real account, but the equipment fell off the back of a truck )

Yeah could be a hacked account.. listing says escrow is avaliable.. I'd probably opt for that myself.

could be a scammer, i got scammed by someone that did that. he was selling stuff and got his feedback up to 200. then he pretended to sell bulk dvds and purses and after he sold them all he took all the $ and ran to india. i guess in total he scammed about 1/2 a million.
