    USA

    USA gave us great cloths (Jeans, t-shirts and so on).

    USA lets face it are top of the sports. Not only that USA are great at putting on sport events, when I see baseball on TV it looks so much fun being sat watching *beats stood in a British football game frozen and wet). You even make the most stupid game in the world look like it makes sense, which is your American football - which is basically a mad version of English rugby, but with protection and lots of mad rules.

    USA has given us great music.

    USA has given us computers and software and the internet.

    USA has given us great films.

    USA has given us good TV, and great comedy.

    USA has shown the world what good customer service is (come to the UK you will see the worst customer service ever).

    USA gave us coca-cola and Pepsi.

    USA gave us chewing gum.

    USA has had some great presidents.

    USA is great in many ways.

    But..............

    Your cars are ugly. I do not think anyone can produce such ugly looking beasts. Why do you make them???? Even the classic Jeep you managed to make that an ugly looking car.

                  Its not a USA v's UK at all.

                  I have said that USA is great - but you seem to love the most ugly cars.

                  I am interested to know from an American point of view why you love them so much.

                  Take the Jeep in ww2, I think its one of the best cars ever made. It was so useful. Yet, look at the version you get today, it looks like a stone would break it. It has lost its hard look, and just been made bland.

                  This is nothing to do with insulting the USA, just the cars.

                  I keep seeing many of you post saying look at this car. And when I see it, its just looks like a Childs toy - but big.

                          Please do not get into a flame war over USA verse other countries, as I see no need for it.

                          Yes, many people outside the USA do not like your current president (inc me), BUT we still love the USA. You must realise that just because we are anti your president, we are not anti USA.

                          I just wanted to chat about cars.

                          And its not the car manufactures eater, i.e., Ford are one of the most popular makes in the UK. But we do not buy cars that were built for the USA - the BIG ones.

                                  I do not understand why you have to instantly respond to a point-of-view by posting 'idiot's all the time. Is this just automatic response from people.

                                  I made a light hearted post - the bulk was saying how good the USA is.

                                  I am not saying your car makers are bad, as I have said Ford are extremely popular in the UK.

                                  My point was that many of you seem to love these big ugly machines, which seem to sell only in the USA.

                                  Why get so defensive all the time?

                                  But if you lack any sort of communication skills, then you are quite correct to respond by calling me an idiot, without reading what I posted and replying with a suitable response.

                                  The best thing I can suggest is when 4 year old sister gets home, I will put her on the net as her basic level of intellect is to also respond by saying words such as 'idiot's 'fool' 'stupid' and so on. But then again, her intellect may still be more advanced than some people who use this message board.

                                  I will leave you to post your insults now while I go have some Lunch.
