I am beginner at TGP market. Our first gallery was accepted to thehun.net yesterday. They promise to post it during some of next days. I've heard The Hun Pages is TGP with highest number of visitors. But how much is highest? How many hits should i expect during first day? And what bandwith? It is at account with 5 GB per month (Vibehosting), should i purchase more?

it all depends on where you are in the listings, the day, the content of your gallery.
but, expect around 250,000 page views.
if you've just been accepted then your gallery (generally) will be listed the next day at around 8am GMT.
Bandwidth usage will be high, and again, depends on your gallery. Size of the thumbnails and images etc - do the calculations, 5GB doesn't seem a lot to me.
Also, with this amount of traffic, your server may collapse, make sure you've configured apache to account for all the hits, max connections set at the default value of 150 just won't cut it.

I got a Hun listing a few weeks ago. Got 75000 visitors in first day! I had a gallery up with about 15 pics at about 50k each and got through about 15 GIgs of bandwidth!Comment

definately more than 5gigs.
i'd say a safe 40-50gigs is good for a 3 day listing.. better buy 60-70 to be safe.Someone finds you...

Definitly up the bandwidth. I've seen as many as 175k from all of his domain variations and sites that steal his gallery listings.
I'd use no lower than 100 gigs just to be safe. There's nothing worse than havign a server crash and risking a blacklisting.Comment

Huh, today it is listed. Near the top. 4,000 hits in 1st hour :-) And it's yet night in USA. Server is working well, we have spoken with vibehosting.com tech support and have been asured our server is ready to take it. They bill us at .75/gig after. Thanks to all responses, i'll post an overview in a day or so.Comment

Vibe hosting looks like a great deal. .75/gig is sweet, and they have a starter package for only $3.95 per month.. I may have to switch. Webair charges $2.00/gig overage. Ouch..Comment

So vibehosting.com suspended our account after 28 GB :-( My husband was agreed with technical support 40 GB is ok, we get billed after that. No billing attempt, no invoice, just bandwith limit exeeded :-(Comment
