    China Orders Killing 10,000 Cats In Markets Linked To SARS

    The Chinese have discovered that SARS is spreading from all the live animal markets they have over there. Dumb fucks, that's what you get for eating dogs and cats.

    Authorities have ordered the live animal markets shut down and have ordered the immediate killing of 10,000 civet cats in all the markets believed to be the primary SARS carrier to the other animals and then to people.

                                                                                                          Yes but slaughterhouses in the US do not throw live cats into vats of boiling water nor hang dogs by their necks from trees, beat them with baseball bats and skin them while still alive.

                                                                                                          My point is if you are going to slaughter, at least minimize the pain and suffering as much as humanely possible. Animal eating will not stop anytime soon. All I'm trying to do is improve the conditions and treament of the animals as much as possible and you can only accomplish that by making people aware of what goes on all over the world and trying to enact legislation to change things as best as possible.

                                                                                                                                  its prett bad and few people in our block died (65) so it was pretty scary for me at that time.

                                                                                                                                  Killing those foxes is not cool but another outbreak would be bad news.

                                                                                                                                  china goverment should educate there people on eating wild animals though, its pretty dangerous.

                                                                                                                                  only village areas seem to eat this type of thing, ive never seen it in city areas in china.

I'm happy they are shutting down the markets finally. Its sad the 10,000 cats have to be killed and not released back into the wild since surely they all don't have SARS, but they were going to be killed regardless.

                                                                                                                                                                                      Take a veal cow for instance . tiny little room , no daylight no room to move . just a little box to live in till the " baby cow " is hung and throat slit .. or however they kill . On a side note , as a teen I recued a veal cow from our local fair LOL . imagine my dads surprise when he awoke to a calf in his living room at 3 am LOL

There´s a woman in that film, living somewhere in America, beating cats with a basebollbat, skinning them and then selling the meat..
