    Question for people using fastsize hosted galleries... does your RID show, or 2010?

    Summary: fastsize galleries do not link to my own RID

    I signed up for the hosted gallery program but somehow my account got tagged with the RID 2010, which is not mine. If I click on a link from the generated gallery it sends to fastsize with that RID.

    When fastsize sent out a notice about the hosted gals the first URL they sent had 2010 in it, then they resent it with the correct URL (containing my RID). I signed up from the second URL, but I had previously loaded the first so the RID must have been cookied. The weird thing is that the confirmation email shows my correct RID, not 2010.

    Is anyone else seeing this problem? I don't think it's anything deliberate, but it could be important if others are affected.

          It's a gallery generator system so I am already signed up for it, and that incorrect RID is attached to my account (ie: it's stored in a database at galleryblaze, not in a cookie on my PC)

          I guess the quick fix would be to clear cookies and sign up again, but that duplication might cause some probs.

          I've emailed fastsize, hopefully it's just a minor glitch that only affected me. I'm sure we can fix it up quickly. I'm posting it here just in case others are also affected.

              Did you do it under biskoppens system?
              I believe he takes 50% as payment for hosting the galleries. I could be wrong though.

                  No, these are the official fastsize hosted galleries. To use them you sign up to galleryblaze. It's a gallery generator system, not just a simple dynamic "link with your refid at the end" URL...
