              Well in dutch we have the word vergas and if you say it quickly it sounds like Vegas.

              "To gass someone" as in a bad fart or a terrorist gass bomb.

                  It stands for "The Meadows" in Spanish. Back then it was an oasis abundant with artesian spring water...

                  Vegas is also the brightest star in the constellation Lyra, which is cool considering Las Vegas is the brightest city in the world!
