Dare I say something as crazy as that I don't really care how people view me or what I say for the large part. I know that may be hard to believe when so many of you are concerned with what people think of you and your "reps" but I don't know that I give a fuck. The people I work with don't mention me publicily and I don't mention them, I keep my biz to myself and post on here to discuss the industry, ocassionally ask a question and spend the rest of the time pointing out the bullshit that so many are full of. I don't know shemp so I have no comments on him personally and never said anything about him personally, just merely pointing things out in a general way. But I can appreciate where you are coming from because I like you.
I've seen him do SO many positive things, both in matters pertaining to business and helping people out on a personal level. I've never known a man so generous and willing to put himself out to help someone else. In general like I said, you may not know him or agree with what he's done on his site, but when it all boils down to it, I don't think ANYONE would have a single bad thing to say about him aside from disagreeing with that one thing. If anything, it's exactly the opposite. That kind of "rep" doesn't just show up because someone buys booze and women. That is the HARDEST kind of rep to earn, and it speaks volumes without saying a word.Comment

I agree with your assessment of Shemp and have seen tons of positive things he has done. However, past actions don't excuse someone when they fuck up. Step back for a sec and look at this objectively. Greed is powerful and can easily make anyone of us compromise the reputation we've worked hard to build up. Shemp chose to promote a clear cut scam in exchange for some easy $.
