there are only two certainties about the upcoming Olympics, any Olympics for that matter

1) the American TV coverage will suck ass

2)every gold medal winner will be a drug injecting pill popping cheater

I think Australia will win no more medals than they usually do. Greece will obviously win a truck load of medals.

As far terrorist attack, I seriously doubt we'll have any. You don't need Olympics to spread world panic, so why to risk it under so heavy security...

NBC may have gotten the message. While the past couple have been slick MTV-style edited coverage mostly after the fact, this time around NBC plans around-the-clock coverage using all of it's networks (NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, Bravo, Telemudo, NBC-HD) so perhaps we will get a lot more live coverage this time around. If you don't have cable or satellite your coverage will be whatever the NBC network runs, barring any local interruption.
