I never use to like wine for the longest time when I was younger.
But since i've developed a taste for it years ago, every other type alcohol to me taste like shit now. Everything from beer, hard alcohol, etc. It just does not taste as good to me anymore...it simply doesn't satisfy. I absolutely cannot live without a decent bottle of red. Nothing else even compares. I don't know what it is about it.
To be honest, I almost wish I didn't care for it. Cause now i've started looking into learning more about it in my free time and I started experimenting between different regions, grapes, flavors and understanding the process. But unfortunately, wine can become a very expensive hobby.
It was so much easier when a simple trip to the store for 6 pack of beer would do for the evening.
