    texas hold'em question

    OK, my friend and I got in an argument over this. Here is the scenario:

    Your playing hold'em and it's down to 2 people left in the hand. So after the river card has been dealt Person A bets. Person B calls the bet and Person A shows his cards. Person B looks at the cards and knows he is beat...does Person B have to show his cards as well?

      No he does not. It is called "Mucking" you can always simply Muck your cards, which means conceit to a loss and through them in unseen to anyone
