You know, no matter who you are or what you look like you are just wasting your energy if you care all too much about the people that don't find you attractive. Do I think that the majority of men are attracted to big women? No. Do I care? No. Why? Because I know for a fact that there are still many men that not only do find big women attractive but find them the most attractive. They may be the minority but, in a world with this many people in it, that is a pretty big minority (no pun intended). I have never once had to beg a guy to like me...either they do or they don't but judging by the reaction I have had when I did model and that I now just get in general when I am in BBW/FA situations I know more than few do. So, I will concentrate my time and energy on those people and continue to not particuarly care that other people don't find me attractive. I will tell you this - the feeling you get from being with a partner that truly loves your body type is something that everyone should feel regardless of if they are fat, thin or inbetween.

Because I had a personal preference that she disagreed with, she basically ended our friendship. I personally do not find the image of stick thin anorexic chicks enjoyable (I truly believe that seeing rib cages and hip bones is gross and know from experience how bad it hurts to get poked with 'em), and what happens here with fat chicks would be similar to what would happen if I constantly harassed, made fun of, insulted all the skinny ladies on here and did everything I could think of to make sure everyone knew how disgusting they truly were. I am fat. It is not the result of a glandular disorder. I have always been heavy-set, though occasionally not fat. The best adult weight I've ever had was 155 pounds on a 5'9" frame when I was 18-19.
Pregnancy added 20 pounds to that. Since then, I have been 390 pounds. I'm down now to 258.
Yep, I'm fat. I've been REALLY fat. I know the difference. And I've learned to laugh at it, I've learned to enjoy myself despite the weight, and slowly, steadily, I'm taking the weight off. It didn't get there overnight, and it sure the hell isn't coming off overnight.

I've already actually started losing weight due to some really bad shit that's happened recently 150 to 175 and I'm a nice healthy thickness. I'm on my way already.. In about a year or less I will reach my ideal weight. I'm doing it for myself for my health and my 15 month old daughter not because haters are being assholes. Very good post. Made alot of sense. I was skeptic abnout doing what I do now. Over 2 years ago and about 75 lbs thinner I said to my husband who gave me the idea "Who would want to look at me?" "Thick chicks" is another niche/genre/class of women that is close to my heart.
