I have the yahoo ID Brendan. Just plain ol' brendan. You'd be amazed at how many folks think the brendan they know is the only brendan that uses the internet. I get messages from mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, friends, wives, whatever. Until recently, i used to fuck around with 'em. I convinced one guy who was apparently a friend of mine that i had been boning his girlfriend. Just shit like that. I always came clean in the end though. I'd feel way too bad if something actually happened 'cause of it, haha. But it eventually got annoying, boring, and repeptive, so i made my ICQ not accept messages from people not on my contact list.
Doesn't stop the 5 or so requests to be added as a buddy every fucking day, though.
