just saw the footage on the news and I say dumber. There is is one point where he holds the baby by his arms and walks him along the ground only a couple of feet from the croc. Now, if there is one thing BBC nature programs have taught me is those things can run when they want to and the baby wouldn't have stood a chance.Comment

that is what he says but the baby is one month old and he is holding him in one hand and a chunk of meat about the same size in the other. He is lucky the croc went for the correct hand.Originally posted by Babagirls
i think its dumb, however, i know him and his wife are both coc handlers and etc. Maybe they're just trying to get the baby comfrontable with croc surrondings.
always thought he was a little bit on the fruity side.

Although unorthodox he is a trained pro and knows what hes doing. Yes all animals are unpredictable but the family dog can kill a child if he turns on them just as easy. All it takes is a second.

I think it is funny. Those crocs are fed so much that striking out at Steve would be a slim chance and that croc has probably done that trick with him a thousand times. It's routine.
In no way do I believe Steve is anything like Michael Jackson. When I looked at the photo the Michael Jackson episode was the first thing that came to mind, so I thought you guys would enjoy the laugh.
It wasn't meant to be taken so seriously. Opps!! Next time I'll be careful with my sarcasms.

I have to agree... as a parent, when you feel like your child is really in danger (even if he's not)... you REALLY freak out about it...you have an intuition/instinct that you didn't have before having kids. Bad things can happen anytime, anyplace under very seemingly safe circumstances....
I think their baby was safe the entire time.... parents like these simply wouldn't put their children in jeopardy...
