It's very easy to write a stat checking script (a la statsremote), I am sure that you could get one written super cheap... it also means that you can use whatever kind of interface you want, and integrate it with your own click counting scripts/ accounting scripts etc.

If memory serves SinEmpire Brad used to have a link to a free one. I've never downloaded it, installed it, or tried it so that's as much info I can give about it. I believe it was called statscube(?) I could be wrong though.

Hosted galleries are actually something that gets up my nose. I promote strictly through SEs and so all the costs are my own, all the sponsor has to do is sit there and get my good quality traffic. It pisses me off that my payouts are subsidizing putting together and hosting sponsor hosted galleries, plus free hosting, free content or whatever.

Some of the <a href="http://www.signupsluts.com/sponsor_redir.php?id=89">nscash</a> galleries have converted madly w/ my TGPtraffic (under 1:100 w/ default TGP traffic). Dollars4babes has pretty galleries with huge pictures, but convert like crap for me (0:9796 last month). <a href="http://www.signupsluts.com/sponsor_redir.php?id=128">Sunnydollars</a> FHGs are pretty elite, 1:1147 for the last months (pure TGP => FHG traffic, 13764 hits). They do redir some foreign traffic to dialers .. but on the other side I do get paid for it as well.

<a href="http://www.signupsluts.com/sponsor_redir.php?id=126">extreme paychecks</a> are elite .. ~1:600 last month with tgp=>fhg. And they have over 4000 hosted galleries. Kick ass.

... so many more but thoose were some that came to mind.

Is it the oversaturation aspect or the fact that webmasters need not invest anything themselves into promotion of a site? Zero investment usually does lead to oversaturation of a product but realistically if someone is serious about their business they will reinvest or perish, right?

There are people who are going to send N hits a day to a page hosted on a free affiliate server in hopes to get that first paycheck to reinvest into their own hosting and content.

Call me selfish but I don't really care what other affiliates are doing, I just know that if it wasn't for the fact that some of the money from the sales I send was going to funding sponsor hosted galleries, I could be getting paid more.

sponsors using MPA, where hosted gallery links are in text boxes 6/page, really pisses me off.

"keep me logged in" buttons that don't work - Adult Platinum are just one example of this.

Affiliates that use IDs as the login and not a specified username, there is no reason for this!

some things that have been said before: sponsor sites with porn all over the place & the over use of flash animations.

Yes and no. The more that's cut from a program's promotional materials the less expenses for that program. There are some programs which offer thousands of hosted galleries, and some offer a handful - generally they have the same affiliate payout ($25,$30,$35) (40/60,50/50,60/40); and I think it's a number/percentage that's reached after a calculation of many, many other variables. Point being, I don't think the funding for hosted materials comes from your cut of the payout.

Sponsors who's owners have 20 million posts on GFY and attack other webmasters on a baord. I think the problem there is the industry being infested with 17 year old webmasters.

Anyway, keep your hosted galleries public, I understand protecting free content, but keep the galleries public. Theyre used more than anything else, and they all lead to your sites, so make it easy.

Im so tired of every sponsor claiming they do 1:120...bullshit! Big bullshit. Sure you have 1 or 2 affiliates with those stats but while everybody generally is doing 1:600 to 1:1000 and you claim 1:100 youre full of shit.

just can't see 1:100 on avg for all affiliates on any site with any sponser. and when I go to my sponser pages and I see.

1:72 and I sent them 2000 clicks that would mean everyone else did better than 1:72??? who carried my 1:2000? Tell me the avg is 1:600 I might not achieve that but I can see it happining overall.

wake up sponsers. Your newbies will sign up EVEN IF YOUR HONEST. and will probably cause you less grief if they have a real expectation of what to expect.

I generally tend to go with sponsors that I know and specially when I know thier crews.

Oh and when they buy me lap dances in Vegas thats cool too.

Affiliates who see a post and must spam their program when others are just looking for some useful info.

Stats/affiliates areas that use frames (Maxcash).
Areas where you have to login multiple times just to freaking see a message board (Maxcash).
No referring URLs (my own doesn't but we're moving to Epoch so we can! woohoo!)
No way to skip or go around the damn Flash (props to Silvercash for keeping the plain HTML login)
CONTENT WITH FULL FUCKING URLS ON THE PICTURES. Your logo is fine. Giving the surfers an entire URL to type in and go around my affiliate link is NOT (Adult.com)
Not being able to go in and see the site (Maxcash). Yeah the reviews are nice but they're not the same as me seeing it myself and being able to describe it in my OWN words to my OWN traffic.
Sites that have nothing to do with the niches they're supposed to be centered around. Like seeing girls in stockings on a supposed pantyhose site tour. Or girls in thongs on a panty site tour. Or tranny sites that talk all about being gay (tranny surfers are STRAIGHT, idiots!). Or smoking sites with a girl sticking a cigarette in her twat - instant turnoff to smoking surfers. Know your damn niche before you make a site for it, or at least hire a designer who knows the damn niche.
Tours with more leaks than an amateur girl's "friends" page. Offers for DVDs, free porn signups, eraser software... all hardlinked from the tour. The point is to get the surfer to sign up for the SITE. Offer him this crap after he decides NOT TO sign up for the site, not as an alternative to the site.
No way to turn off popups.
Confusing fucking linking codes or webmaster areas in general (CECash).
Having to sign up multiple times to promote one program's offerings (CECash, Join Right Now, etc etc) - and then especially when the different signup forms all have different max input fields so in one you can put a 7-letter login but in another you can only use a 5-letter login (CECash).
Mentioning "bling" anywhere on your webmaster site/area. Fucking please. I'm not 15.
Treating your affiliates/clients like the scum of the earth when they dare to mention your program in less than glowing terms on a message board (Ibill - yeah they're not a sponsor but they're the first to come to mind with this bullshit.)

I am not saying these numbers are impossible. ( I can't do it but heh) My problem is while A webmaster in a program ( A, one, uno) may have done these numbers one day. They can not possibly be the Average for all affilites of a given program. Yet this is how it is presented.

People new to a program may expect these numbers. Webmasters with time is the biz may not. But how do sponsers think a webmaster feels or reacts when he sees 1:20 and they have gone 0:600 or 0:1500 or 0:5000 .

I am happy with my sponsers. but the question was for affiliates asking us what sponsers do that bothers us.
