That depends entirely on the quality of traffic. If it was 100K uniques all search engine traffic, you'd make a lot more than 100K uniques from CJ trades.Comment

As some have pointed out, you can loose money on a 100K/per day TGP. Depends on the galleries, sponsors and the traffic of course. Is it niche, which niche.
I'd skip the thumbs, tried that. Think some must of done better with it. Shemp did thumbs. Well does both. If ya think about the elite of the elite, they're text for the most part.
If you're average, maybe you rake in $2K/month. If you're aggresive in some way, more (maybe way more). At a 100K visitors a month, you should be able to sell some gallery spots and banner space. The flip side, you could make $500. Takes a crystal ball to answer that one I think.
Have you ever read a thread where someone makes to thehun with no conversions. Just all bandwidth.
I look at a TGP as a traffic generator more than a source of revenue. Yep, I need the $ too. Only a few will make to the TGP elite status and make serious money at it.
Still TGP is an important part of the marketing mix right now.Comment

10k, 25k, 100k, 200k... Traffic numbers don't mean anything these days without more details, and even then it's very hard to say.
Take that 100k TGP and cut off all trades for a month or two. What do you have left? If you are the Hun, you still have 100% of your traffic. If you are some of these other TGP's, you have almost nothing left.
Point is, a TGP that relies on trades to get traffic through their site rests their income in the hands of other webmasters. ANYTHING can happen depending on who these webmasters are, who they do business with, and who those people do business with. Someone introduces shit traffic into the trading circle and everyone suffers.
Take two TGP's that are identical and feed the exact amount of traffic into them. One TGP gets trades from one group of TGP's, and the other TGP from a different group of TGP's.
The end result could be two very different bottom lines.
I personally think trading traffic is for the birds, and I opt to build over the long term for myself only.Comment

The more ya do right, the better your chances, the more of a niche the better too.
I get the 2K$ as typical from my experience with my own TGPs and what others have said in other threads here and on other boards.
I do think that 250K visitors is going to be more than 2.5 times the profit unless you really work at screwing it up.
You could go out and buy that traffic for awhile to see how it feels and how you do? That might be a very good investment..

You could try any amount per day. I'd say the absolute min to prove anything would be 10K/day - more would be better. I'd also try differnt brokers. Each has a different mix of traffic and varies day to day.

hard to get 10K per month of SE adult traffic unless you own a big keyword. That prolly means rolling the dice on refer bombs and cloaker etc.. Means risking a ban or penality by google I think. It certainly violates their TOS.Originally posted by slapass

TGPs can earn SE traffic with multiple pages each supporting a different phrase. It's easier to get a higher Google PR rating with a TGP than something behind an adult check like a pay site. Always exceptions to the rule.Comment

I think JJJ has tons of bookmark traffic. I don't know for sure how he does it.
I think many of the hosted galleries get worn out fast. Plus, not all of them are that great!!
