Personally, I've dated different types (skinny/overweight - rich/broke - goodlooking/average looking) The thing I think he may have working against him may be the 'cheap' in the sense that if he lets money get between treating a woman as a woman he wants the affection of example: Pay the cab fare / movies / supper when he is taking her out on a date or buying her a rose or even totally ignoring the people who walk in restaurants to sell a rose while you are dining. If he's the type of cheap that wears secondhand clothing (that looks like it's seen better days) or the type that won't dress up because it costs too much.....those guys are the ones that I think will have a hard time getting a date and this just because his love for money is greater than his attraction for the girl.
If he is not 'that cheap' and his love of money is not this bad.....then I think he won't have a hard time winning a girl over.
If he looks good, knows how to present himself, know how to treat a woman, can keep her interested......I think he'll do fine.

If he's wealthy and a decent guy he can get women.
Counter to what is generally thought, looks are just as important to women as they are to men (insidious studies show that both sexes rate looks as the most important factor, but if asked directly, most will tell you otherwise).
In cultures where women are more dominant, looks become increasingly important to them.
In a culture driven by men and money, woman will often forego looks. I'm sure he has no problems finding women. If he's looking for love....I don't know.
