    Canadian webmasters and new 2257.

New 2257 could be tricky in Canada where it is now illegal to give out a person's personal info without a signed and witnessed affidavit.

It is therefore pretty much impossible and illegal for any content made before this new privacy law went into effect to be 2257 compliant.

If you don't have a signed affidavit from your Canadian models, and you try to be 2257 compliant, you will be breaking Canadian Law.

This is one of many reasons providers should of had their model release forms custom written, instead of swipping them from other providers.

It will be a must for all Canadian content providers if new 2257 recommendations go through in their current form... a separate privacy release form.

Why seperate, just work it into your release.

Yes true, it could be. Webmasters need to be aware of this issue is the main reason I posted.
