I had a friend who took a flight about 3 weeks after 9/11...He does alot of model work (plastic models, ships, planes, whatever) and he had 2 exacto knifes in his jacket pocket he had forgotten about.
Took the flight, got off, hours later he realized he had them on him the whole time.Comment

Nope, boarded the plain, went to where he was going (was a small flight from Sea-Tac to Spokane)...He didn't even know he had them on him when he went on the flight, after he landed and left the airport, he put his hands in his pockets and realized they were there.Comment

When we went to Alabama this past summer to visit family, my aunt gave myself and my mother one of these great potato pealers that are forever sharp (yeah we'll see). Anyway.. put mine in my suitcase. We got to the airport in Atlanta heading back to Seattle. They stopped my mom and went through her purse. Then put it back through the xray machine and dug in it again. Out came the potato pealer. The two women checking her purse looked at each other and laughed..then handed it back mom as she told them how she'd happened to have it in her purse. Guess she could of always threatened to peel the pilot and crew.Comment
