                  I am a biotechnology major. I am in grad school right now. Unfortunately, however, HIV is one of the most cleaver viruses there is. It can become a new form at the drop of a hat, mutate that is so that whatever people are trying to sure themselves with will not work. Sorry to be a pessimist, but according to scientific law, there will never be a cure.

                                          there is no way to cure any viral infection whatsoever, only manage it. So we won't see a cure in our lifetime.

                                          Perhaps a vaccine that reduces the incidence, but the virus is already becoming resistant to the standard treatments we have.
