    Ideas on getting traffic to a brand new site

    Hey all, I'm launching my first site,
    basically it's just a bunch of hosted galleries.

    I figure the best way to learn is to just jump in.

    Now I'm looking for a little guidence.

    I've run many other successful (non adult) sites, and I never had traffic problems becuase the were extremely niche based.

    Now I'm trying to figure out the best way to get my site noticed in the already completely saturated market.

    Any advice ya'll can spare would be greatly appriciated, I know you all have to protect your valuable secrets, I'm just looking for general direction.

      In general it's best for the start to link to other sites.
      You'll see, that you'll get some traffic from them if you get added to their referral lists.
      Apart from that, you'll get a better pagerank on google if you have linked sites with a higher PR than you have (coz yours is currently at 0 )

      And the more PR you have the sooner your site will be the result of a google search...

          Thanks, I know about the google PR stuff, in the past all my sites have been e-commerce, so by using Froogle's data feed, I was able to get excellent placement for our stores.

          Non e-commerce is where I'm trying to figure out the best way to go about building up some traffic and whatnot.
