    I watched "Passion of the Christ" today and I have a question:

    What the hell kind of language were the jews in the movie speaking? cause it sure as hell wasn't hebew...
    It had words taken from hebrew, arabic, and from what it sounded to me, mostly Gibberish

                      I think it was pig latin but I could be wrong.

                      Just for the sake of not getting struck by lightning just in case; it's Aramaic, the true language spoken by Jesus.

                                          what I do know, is that the jewish bible which was written before the time of christ, was written in hebrew for the most part, and at that time, jews spoke hebrew..
