Think I'm OVER reacting???

My roommate told my sister (which is her ex-husband), he asked her to pay a little rent since she's been here for just over a month, first off he hasn't told me this yet, so she's going to tell me how much she gave him so I could deduct 50% off my rent (considering she's sleeping on my couch, using my TV, nothing of his & it's our living room), the he has the guts to tell her, "Yea, I have to remember to ask James for rent, if I don't remind him, he'll spend all his money!" First off I'm making over 3 times more than him, AND i've never EVER been late on rent! That pisses me off! So I'm only paying like $450 this month, since she's gonna give him like $200, i'm going to deduct a $100 off mine then deduct the $100 I lent him and I want it back now!

And I have more money in the bank than he makes in a month and a half!

I took this shit personally, and I'v taken all my shit from the living room and put it in my room!

Is this over reacting?

Tell your roommate and mention you are glad he did the dirty work with the freeloader. He will happy to split it with you then.

Nope, not overreacting.... but plan your strategy for handling this situation NOW because you know you won't be able to keep yer yap shut about it....

I couldn't keep my yap shut either....

But this guy is your roommate... you've liked something about him enough to share the same living space.... so probably better not to wait for the next available moment to say 'WTF??!!'

My rules are simple. No matter what, however many heads are living in that house, rent gets divided by that number.

3 people... rent / 3. No exceptions.

Example: if my roommate wants some chick to move in, he is paying 2 parts of the rent.. not 1

Hahahaha, I used to do this too! When I lived with my roommate her bf and friends would always come over almost EVERY DAY with like 10-15 of their loser friends and use my stuff and get on my nerves. I even labelled all my food "Jackie's food- DO NOT EAT" or else they would eat all my stuff without even asking !!!!! . And I told them not to watch the cable channels because it's MY cable, in MY name and IIIII pay for it.
If you're not gonna pitch in for half the cable then don't watch it! lol

Actually she offered about a month ago, but I said I don't care, and he didn't say anything! Considering this his son's mother, he hasn't been being a asshole! But the fact that he got in to my personal finances, when he doesn't make any where near as much as I do, and said that shit, pissed me off!

I told him a few months ago, "I don't need to you keep this place, and the only reason I'm moving in is to help you out! You're the one that needs me, I don't need you!"

And he takes everything, eats all my food, eats EVERYTHING, might explain why he's 400 pounds, then him and my nephew get pissed when I eat a fucking $0.25 cent Top Ramen, I'm like here, here's fucking 25 cents! Ever since then, I haven't taken him or my nephew to Outback Steakhouse or anywhere, we use to go out and I would drop $150 on dinner!

Fuck him, I'm movin out! I don't care if their living on the streets!

I just did that too! I brought home a shit load of cookies my mother & grandmother made, and I had one so far. I went to get another one two days later, and their half gone! WTF? I cannot believe you do this too!!! I thought I was the only anal one who counted all my food! I even typed up on my pc what stuff was mine and taped it on my refrigerator! Everytime after my roommate's friends came over they would always eat all my bread, eggs, and salad. That is unbelievable ghetto, eating someone else's bread & eggs when I didn't even invite them, dude go buy some McDonalds or something! It is so disrespectufl, they have no respect for anyone!
