I did Time's Square for the Millenium celebration 99/00. Got there around 2:30 PM and had to find my spot in the street at 3pm and could not leave. Froze my ass off in the same spot for 9 hours.Originally posted by Evil Chris

One of the best New Years I had was in New York City on a College trip: we couldn't get in to Times Square so we walked around drinking in the streets for hours, then went back to the Hotel and brought in Midnight at the Irish Pub, was definately one of the best celebrations I've had.
