I was looking at the Range Rover and other than looks its not a very good vehicle. Yes it does look bad ass, but they just aren't nice to drive and handle like shit. My parents have one that ive driven so Im not just pulling it out my ass.
I bought an X5 instead and yes of course I paid CASH :-) I've been pleased so far.
I was gonna get the Porsche Cayenne since I dirve Porsches, but figured I would wait until they get all the bugs out. Besides my girlfriend drives the X5 mostly.
IMO, the RR rides a little nicer than the X5 smoothness wise. Granted the X5 handles a bit better on road. However, the RR can do things offroad and in snow that the X5 can't.
The RR has also tax benefits the X5 doesn't carry.
Plus it's much much more exclusive. I'm sick of sitting next to 3 other X5s everytime I hit a red light.
And I can get 26's and be a homie!
The porsche is cool, but to me it looks too much like a station wagon and not a truck.Comment

I like Range Rovers and I think they look great in black tho i'm not normally a black car fan.

They have a couple of really funky other colors. I saw a hot pewter-blue like color a few weeks ago and there's also a burnt orange like the nissan Z color that looks very good on the Range. But, betwen white and silver definitely silver.
I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...
