Verio .. to host with them or not?

Verio is supposed to be one of the best places for speed etc.

Not for Adult hosting, not at all.

No FreeBSD / OpenBSD
No real Adult business knowledge and its tech requirements.
No ICQ support or other chat client.

You do get 50 GB of data transfer a month for $400 with your dedicated server. LOL

or....

Talk to one of the many adult hosts on this board that can offer you FreeBSD/OpenBSD, Have ICQ and chat support, as well, can offer you bandwidth at MUCH more reasonable prices.

Also, most hosts here are multihomed, so if one ISP goes down, the other pickup the traffic.

Verio has been known to crash at times.

been with Verio for years. Don't have but good 2 say about them.
A lot of webmasters think or use to think they didn't want Adult, that's far from true. Just make sure you tell them it's Adult, you don't want 2 end up on a server that's in Utah, no adult on those servers

I have hosted mainstream sites at verio for 5-6 years and have always been happy, for adult I would not use verio, I use webair and jupiter for adult, both are top notch
