I take all the one digit numbers and depending on the amount of pics in the folder - I rename them
      NAME##
Make sure you have the beginning number set at 1 or it'll start at 0.

      Then rename.

To get only one number - to keep it to 1 digit for the first nine, will cause you the order to go like 1,10,11,12 instead of 01,02,03 - if it's a series of pics, most programs will pic them up in the wrong order, hence changing the series from softcore then fast forward to the hardcore & then back to softcore.

I got over 100 pics in each folder
renaming them wont do anything because 010 is actually pic number 100

the names for the pics.i use jbatchit and theres a sequential rename filename changer. im not sure if you can do it with folder after folder though. worst case scenario, you can do folder by folder and use the a1 a2 a3 thing for your pics, unless you are doing something where it doesnt allow you the freedom to start with a letter

                Oracle......explain where the problem is:
Have you made the change without realizing you'd change the order?

If there are a 100 pics you'd have to change it to Name###

Let me know, I'll help you figure it out.
