    Thumbs Vs. Text Links

I see more and more sites are moving towards the 'thumb style'.

I keep wondering about this issue. What is your expirienced with text links compares to thumbs? What is more productive?

I think if you have a niche type TGP site, then thumbs work well. The surfer see's what he is going to get. But if you have "ugly" looking thumbs (not part of your niche, compressed too much, etc...), then you will get low productivity because the surfer might simply keep passing up the thumbs.

Use Both. Give the surfer the option to view your tgp is either.
It's working for my tgp and I have talked to about 20 other tgp owners, they are switching to this system too.

I posted about this last week but here it is. www.bonerthumbs.com

yeh a combo is the best... all thumbs gets too crowded and all txt is not attractive... so use both!

A combination of both is the best for me, but if you have to make a choice go for thumbs

text tgps still rule. high prod, better traffic + surfer pay more attention for ads.

plus thumb tgps waste a load of bandwidth.

                      a combo works best.

text links pull a lot of click-thrus and that means better productivity/ more traffic

                        thumbs are better for conversion

We also were using thumbs on our CJ2 sites and they have just outstanding prod. even if most of them were done in a same style. Just take a look at these ones for example to see that I'm talking about:
                          http://tranny.picz.org
                          http://shemale.picz.org

You would have to do a fuck of alot of reviewing I think because once there is a thumb attached to the listing it shows up as a thumb not a text listing.

Anyways somebody mentioned they are a waste of bandwidth. At .40 a gig or less, if you can't make your money back with a thumb preview you shouldn't own one.

Personally I prefer to save the few thumbs I have on my txt tgp's for my sponsors
                              I don't endorse a god damn thing......

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR.
Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.
