Hit Ctrl-Alt-Del and see whats taking all the resources. Then remove it. You may want to download stinger.exe from Mcaffee as well... you may have gotten blasted.

You SHOULD see wich application is eating your memory. In the 'Processes' tab of task manager, check the Mem Usage of each process.
